Plan around
What to know before you book
- Nyepi — Day of Silence
- Bali comes to a complete standstill for Nyepi. The airport closes and normal activity stops for 24 hours, so travellers need to plan around the exact date.
- July and August peak season
- Dry-season weather combines with international summer holidays, making these the busiest and most expensive months across Bali's popular areas.
- Christmas and New Year
- Demand rises sharply around the holiday period, particularly in beach destinations. Hotel rates and crowds increase significantly.
