One of the quietest months of the year.

Plan around

What to know before you book

Nyepi — Day of Silence

March

Bali comes to a complete standstill for Nyepi. The airport closes and normal activity stops for 24 hours, so travellers need to plan around the exact date.
July and August peak season

July–August

Dry-season weather combines with international summer holidays, making these the busiest and most expensive months across Bali's popular areas.
Christmas and New Year

20 December – 5 January

Demand rises sharply around the holiday period, particularly in beach destinations. Hotel rates and crowds increase significantly.
