Hi, I'm the founder.

CrowdFreeViews started as a personal list — the rooftop bars, pools, and hotels I kept coming back to, or kept telling friends about, across the cities I travel to most. At some point it made more sense to build that list somewhere public than to keep repeating myself.

My work gives me more time off between stretches than most jobs allow, and I've used it to travel slowly and pay attention to the places that actually earn a repeat visit. That's the standard everything here is held to. Every spot on this site is one I've either visited myself, been pointed to by someone I trust, or would genuinely plan a weekend around. Nothing is paid. Nothing is sponsored.
